INGREDIENTS 📝

1 cup cold water
1 frozen banana
A handful of spinach or kale
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp mesquite powder
Pinch of cilantro (about 1 TBSP)
Pinch of parsley (about 1 TBSP)
3 mint leaves (or one drop of food-grade peppermint oil)

INSTRUCTIONS 👇🏼
Throw all ingredients in a blender with ice and give it a swirl.

If you're wondering how to cook Canihua; it's effortless! Canihua can be cooked much like any other whole grain, which is simmered in water until soft. 
Cook kaniwa in a 1:2 ratio to water. That is, for every one cup of Canihua, use two cups of water. 
Simmer Canihua on the stovetop for 15-20 minutes, occasionally stirring, until soft, and the liquid has absorbed. 
You can use it in salads, desserts, rice substitutes and baking. 🙌
